Location

We are located towards the Western end of the Llŷn/Lleyn Peninsula in North West Wales, an area known as Pen Llŷn; and are therefore central for the villages of Abersoch, Aberdaron, Nefyn and the local market town of Pwllheli and on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

Bed and Breakfast

We provide Bed and Breakfast at our home which is at Gwel Yr Ynys, Lon Fudur, in the village of Dinas, near Pwllheli, Gwynedd LL53 8SR (see us on Google Maps).

We are roughly 4 miles from Nefyn and Porth Oer and 6 miles from Pwllheli or Aberdaron or Abersoch and at the foot of Carn Fadryn.

Self catering cottage

Self catering accommodation is provided at the quarryman’s cottage in Trefor, a picturesque traditional quarrying village with most of the cottages built from the local granite.

It is located on the coast just off the main route between Caernarfon and our local market town of Pwllheli and again close to the villages of Nefyn and Abersoch and the many attractions of the Snowdonia National Park.

The postcode is LL54 5LR. and it nestles in the shadow of Tre’r Ceiri which is one of the best preserved Iron Age hillforts in the UK if not Europe.

There are also stunning views across to Snowdonia, Cardigan Bay and down to the far end of the Llŷn/Lleyn Peninsula and if the weather is clear, across the Irish Sea to the Wicklow Mountains.

We provide accommodation throughout the year, and have had great reviews for both places so we are very pleased that people love what we offer.

Tariff

Please check the rates on this website for the current prices at our B&B which vary between £110 and £130 a night for two adults depending on the time of the year. There is a £10 reduction for single occupancy.

Self catering in Trefor is charged at rates between £95 and £120 a night for the cottage depending on the time of the year with the 7th night free if you stay for the whole week.

Heating is included in the price and is powered totally with renewable energy, with a cosy wood/multi-fuel stove in the living room to add that extra degree of cosiness in the evenings if so desired.
