However, if you would rather have greater freedom, we offer Self Catering accommodation in a traditional quarry-man’s cottage tastefully renovated, which provides comfortable self catering accommodation for singles, couples, and up to four adults, or a family of up to four in two bedrooms.
Again, the village of Trefor in North West Wales is located in stunning coastal country-side on the Llŷn peninsula as you clearly see from the images and offers all the joys of the peace and quiet and the refreshing sea air, and access to the surrounding mountains and Snowdonia and the local beautiful beaches. The Wales/Llyn Coastal path will take you along the shoreline of Trefor Harbour and beach and through the mountain pass to Nant Gwrtheyrn.
The village is close to Caernarfon, Nefyn, Pwllheli, Criccieth, and Abersoch and on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and all are accessible via the excellent local bus service. Although there is no on-site parking, if you’re visiting by car you can park nearby in a small car park opposite Bethania Chapel.
The cottage has one double and one twin bedroom both with very comfortable luxury beds with pocket sprung/memory foam mattresses.
Bedding, including Egyptian cotton bed linen, is provided as well as one set of towels per guest.
The breakfast kitchen is fully fitted with a cooker, fridge, washing machine and microwave as well as all the ancillary equipment you would expect of a quality establishment.
The living room offers a cosy welcome with a wood burner/multi-fuel stove , ample comfortable seating, a dining area and a modern Smart digital TV with access to catch-up on all the major TV channels, Netflix, Amazon Prime, You Tube etc if you have the relevant accounts. There is also a DVD/Blue-ray player and broad-band Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property.
The bathroom is fitted with a bath and an overhead modern electrical shower with a glass side screen.
In addition to the wood burner, heating if required is provided throughout the house by off-peak electrical storage heaters powered totally by renewable energy, which makes it beautifully warm and cosy throughout.
There is a small garden at the front leading down to the stream which you may just listen to as it lulls you off to a relaxing night’s rest in those “oh so comfortable” beds after your day’s adventures enjoying all that the Llŷn/Lleyn peninsula can offer you.
